Tag Day is the FHS Band's biggest fundraiser of the year. ALL band students participate (not just the Marching Band) as we canvas the entire geographic district of Fairfax High School for financial support. Parent volunteers drive groups of 3-4 students to designated neighborhoods for door-to-door canvassing. The Marching Band's marching band uniform and non-marching band students must wear concert attire. Students receive donations on that day or leave a tag and envelope requesting financial support. This is one of the only donations to a school group that donors can claim as a tax deduction. We are very fortunate at FHS to receive tremendous support from our community through Tag Day!
